Best place in town. Great food, great serves, prices are great...macaroni and cheese is fantastic!

Ordered pizza and salad to be delivered. Arrived quickly. Pizza was hot, salad was cold. Cesar dressing a bit too thick. Pizza sauce lacked something -- not sure what. I am from the SF bay area and the cost here was more than back home. That surprised me. All in all, it was good enough to do it all over again another night. Not every night. Another night.

Thank you!!!!! This was our first time ( of many, many, many more to come). Pizza was incredible and staff was so friendly! The chef said she has ordered special olive oil from France, for margarita pizzas in September w/locally grown Roma tomatoes! I'm going to be having visions of this pizza in my dreams tonight. This place should have lines around the block...yes, it is that great! Oh, & ask for fresh parmesan cheese (right, off the block).

Traveling back from a trip to Silver Falls we decided to stop at Sweet Home to get something to eat. Checking Yelp, we saw Spoleto's and decided to give it a try. My wife ordered a BBQ Chicken Sub and I ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch. Both were delicious and well worth the price. The service was quick, even though there was only one server serving everyone there. A very friendly place as well...next time we are in Sweet Home, we know where we can have a good meal.

Just what I needed after a long wet hike up the rooster trail. My husband's calzone was the size of a football, literally! And my pizza was made with the perfect balance of cheese, veggies, and meat. Do not let the exterior fool you, the kitchen staff know what they're doing here! It would be unwise to miss Spoletos if you're in the neighborhood!

Strange place, they give you two menus one has just food the other has food and alcohol. We had 4 different menus (possibly a couple of earlier versions?). Ordering was confusing and the menu I had had a large cheese calzone for 6.50 but when I ordered it the waitress advised me that the large calzone was actually 11.00, WTH? I'm not sure if she was making it up or what because it clearly said 6.50 she didn't offer an explanation or apology for the discrepancy so I just didn't order anything (I'll include a pic of the menu). The food the wife and kids received was good enough 3.5 stars but nothing to write home about. The rest of the service was spotty at best even after a shift change and a new waitress. Food was slow coming out even with just 2 customers in the place and drink refills were long in coming as well as our check and to go order, apparently the to go order had been done for a while but they didn't say it was done and that kept us waiting for a long time. I would give them 4 four stars if they streamlined the menus corrected the errors and tightened up the late night night service, I would give them a five if the food was a little better value.

BEST KEPT SECRET IN THE WILLAMETTE VALLEY! If this was in a large city such as Portland,OR there would be lines around the block. Quality all around. The ingredients, the staff the menu. The exterior and decor can be deceiving. It's an upscale quality dining experience with the easy, cozy and relaxed feel of a VERY small town, No need to dress up... just be yourself and dig in. You'll feel like a transplanted Italian. This is the quintessential ''family'' cafe.

We have lived in Sweet Home for about a year and I saw the good reviews as soon as we moved here. The exterior is a bit deceiving (needs an upgrade) so it was difficult to convince my wife to give it a try. We finally decided to give it a try a few weekends ago and we were both very pleasantly surprised. We ordered the "Two Girls Menagerie". What surprised me the most was how fresh all of the ingredients were. I've never had mushrooms on a pizza that were so tasty and its because I've never had them this fresh. Without going into a lot of details, I'll just say this was probably the best pizza I've ever had and we will definitely be return visitors! If you live in SH or are ever passing through, stop by and support this business!

Good food. Liked the pizza. Pesto chicken sandwich was also good. Tell them to go light on the butter if your kid gets noodles and Parmesan. Very friendly staff. Bring your dog and sit on the patio.

I recently moved from San Diego to Sweet Home. With a world of food choices at my fingertips in San Diego, I was unprepared to find such a gem in my new, albeit small, hometown. Spoleto's pizzas and calzones are amazing. Fresh ingredients that are sourced locally whenever possible and tasty homemade crusts that are crispy on the outside, yet warm and yeasty on the inside--totally delicious. Try Spoleto's. You won't be disappointed.

The staff is nice and the food is great! The calzones are awesome! Portions are very generous. They are kid friendly too :-)

If you want to experience Sweet Home for what it truly is and you're passing through, you should head to Spoleto's. Although every place is "the local's spot" in such a low population town, don't be deterred just because this is the only Italian place around that serves more than pizza! The CALZONE was the best calzone of my life, truly. Meatballs were HUGE, firm and herby with rosemary; handmade. The crust is fantastic--crisp on the outside, yeasty, warm and soft on the inside. The wheat comes from Eastern Oregon and is milled in Pendleton. The beers are cheap, local and they have a great selection of Nikkasi. The wine list is good and they serve Marks Ridge--the local Sweet Home Winery. Proceeds for much of the menu goes to local community groups and services. I would stick with calzones or pizza and don't expect the most spectacular ambiance inside, but don't hesitate just because the outside looks a little different. It's so much better than what it appears. You'll definitely be in for a good meal. I recommend this place for the calzones alone.

Stopped in here while passing through after a day of snowshoeing, and have to say that we were very pleasantly surprised. We got a pair of calzones. One was vegetarian, one had meat. They were both epic. Like seriously. Go get a calzone. Awesome crust, tasty fillings, plenty of ranch and marinara. Nomnom. Reasonably priced beer, good food, and good service. This place has earned our business next time we pass through for sure.

We stopped here on the way back to Portland after camping near the McKenzie River. We chose it because it was the first restaurant we found coming into town and we were starving. We had no expectations. The outside is very plain, the decor was kinda weird and aging, but the staff was very friendly (though busy). The selections on the menu surprised me, because they had offerings of spinach, feta, walnuts, pesto, artichoke, etc. that you don't see at the average pizza place. They also had beer and wine pairings for the pizzas and a pretty decent wine and beer selection. The salad was very good, fresh and very HUGE. We ordered an individual cheese pizza for our kids. This was also excellent. Ours, a spinach, feta, walnut with garlic-olive oil was very good. Their crust is great. It's what I'd call a medium crust. The rim is big and fluffy, the center is not too thin, not too thick. The flavor and texture of the bread is wonderful. This is a great place for groups, families, couples, etc. They have smaller, more private booths up front, a small 'bar' with a few seats near the checkout, and an open room in the back with booths and tables. I have a hard time imagining there is a better place to eat in Sweet Home, but this is the only place we've tried. It will be included in our travel plans to this area for the foreseeable future.

If you're visiting the lake or passing through for any reason go to Spoletos! It's cheap, doesn't belong in somewhere like sweet home, has ninkasi beers, and the two girls menagerie pizza is one of the better pizzas I've ever had.

Starving after a long day of skiing or hiking in the Cascades and want to support a locally owned business in Sweet Home? You can order a pizza to go at Spoleto's as soon as you have cell reception and it will be ready by the time you get to Sweet Home. Their pizza is tasty, and they have gone almost completely local with their wine and beer selection (including a number of Willamette Valley wines and Ninkasi beer).
